Anrudern 2024 von Speyer nach Worms

Vereinskleidung

Partnervereine

A real good evening in Worms-Herrnsheim on the Wein-Nachts-Markt. We had music with mobile Brass Banda, good Sander beer from Worms and met many guys from rowing club. We got in contact with Erika (best Langos in town) and had a good walk in the park. It was a beautifull evening with full moon in the sky. Tomorrow we go to the Kirchboot in Speyer.

Kirchboot im Ketscher Altrhein
Kirchboot im Ketscher Altrhein

Sunday morning we left for Speyer with 16 Persons and met Reinhold at the new Boathouse at Reffenthal. We led the Kirchboot into the water (12 persons) and Gig.4er "Pioneer". We rowed in the oldrhine (side arm) to the rhine and down some kilometers. Big waves, cross waves - no problem for the Kirchboot. Then on the other side (Baden side) in the Ketcher Oldrhine and up again back to reffenthal. Very hot day, short lunch and a beer on the balcony. The guys from hungary went to Speyer for a visit of the 2nd dome, the others back to Lampertheim for PIZZA :-)

On Monday was nothing special, swimming in Biedensand Bad in Lampertheim.

On Tuesday Holger went with us to Felsenmeer in Odenwald with a view to Frankfurt in the african restaurant. In the evening the hungarian evening took place with Ungarischem Kartoffeltopf and Griespudding. And sun was shining, very hot (also the next day).

Kellerlabyrinth Oppenheim
Kellerlabyrinth Oppenheim

On Wednesday we started for Oppenheim and met Tobias in Lampertheim Worms Boathouse Hornbach Baumarkt. We drove the B9 to Oppenheim and met our guide to the cellars. He was speaking english and german very well and made a fantastic tour through the cellar labyrinth of oppenheim, a free imperial city (like worms). In the evening Wormser Abend with barbecue and nice sunset. Many members of the Wormser Ruderclub joined and helped. Many thanks to all of you!

Good bye and see you in 2019 in Tata for 25th anniversary.
